The Qatari Businessmen Association received a delegation from the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEIK) and held The Turkish-Qatari Business Council on Thursday 22 March 2018. It is worth mentioning that in 2006, the Qatari Businessmen Association signed an agreement with DEIK on the establishment of the DEIK/Turkey-Qatar Business Council. The purpose of the Council is to boost the trade volume between the two countries and to identify and develop business and investment opportunities in Turkey and Qatar. In this context, the Council organises meetings of members of their business communities on various platforms and ensures the exchange of information on potential business areas. The Council works on attracting Qatari capital to Turkey and on promoting the Turkish economy in Qatar.
