QBA Grants Its First Honorary Membership

QBA has offered its first honorary membership to Sheikh Hamad Bin Faisal Al Thani, Former Minister of Trade, for his recognized contributions of supporting the establishment of the Qatari Businessmen Association in the first place. The event took place during a special dinner that took place in Mr. Issa Abdul Salam Abu Issa’s house, QBA’s Secretary General on Saturday, December 18, 2004. The dinner was attended by Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kawary, Former Minister of information, Mr. abdul Aziz Al Khulaify, former Undersecretary of Ministry of Economy, Mr. Mohamed Khalid Al Mana, Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with a group of Qatari business leaders and a visiting delegation of Bahrain Businessmen’s Association.
