Exploring Qatari-French business opportunities in the sport industry
The French Embassy in Qatar and the Qatari Businessmen Association are pleased to announce the organization of “Exploring Qatari-French business opportunities in the sport industry” seminar, sponsored by the Qatari-French Business Club, the French Trade Advisors and Ubifrance, which will take place on November 18th at The Torch Hotel at 11am.
The seminar is expected to attract local Qatari companies and more than 40 French companies working in the sport industry, Mr. Denis Masseglia, President of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) will also attend the event.
This event aims at introducing the “French Team for Sport”, an initiative to promote the French know-how in the Qatari market and make use of the French expertise to participate in the implementation of sport related projects. Gathering more than 100 companies, from SME to large groups, this initiative is structured around four sectorial clusters: Construction & Transportation, Energy & Environment, Security & Telecommunications and Communication & Event management. It aims to offer integrated solutions on the whole sporting event’s value chain and provide innovative responses to address the challenges faced by Qatar in organizing sporting events.
It will also offer an exceptional networking opportunity for French and Qatari companies to discuss their specific fields of work, share experiences and explore cooperation in all activities related to the sport industry.
The Qatari Businessmen Association is proud to co-organize this event with the French Embassy as part of its mission to serve different sectors of Qatar economy. As the sport industry is witnessing a huge booming due to Qatar’s hosting the 2022 World Cup, this seminar comes as an important hub to connect the local business community with their counterparts from France to discuss how to benefit from the French experience in hosting such major events.
