Join To QBA
HOW TO APPLY

 

A. It is the right of every businessman and/or businesswoman of Qatari nationality who enjoys unimpeachable reputation of good conduct and is willing to serve the goals of QBA to join the Qatari Businessmen Association, provided he/she fulfils the following conditions:

An applicant:

  1. must possess Qatari nationality.

  2. must be 30 years of age and over.

  3. must have no criminal record and be free of any sentences for crimes involving honor.

  4. must have outstanding economic contribution.

  5. or be an outstanding expert and/or specialist.

  6. or be Chairman, Board Member or GM of a shareholding public company.

  7. or be a Chairman of a private business with a registered capital of no less than QR 10 millions.

  8. or be owner/ shareholder of a company with a registered capital of no less than QR 10 millions.

  9. must be recommended by three QBA founding members or three principal members with a minimum three year membership or more.

B. An applicant must fill in the membership application form.

C. QBA Board of Directors reserves the right to approve or reject any application through a secret voting majority of two thirds of attending members.

D. QBA Board of Directors may admit as associate members non-Qatari, resident businessmen. Those shall enjoy full membership privileges except the right to vote.

E. QBA Board of Directors may admit as honorary member any individual with proven positive contributions to the Qatari economy.
